Recently, I was visiting a wonderful shop that features items such as crystals, incense, books, and all things metaphysical. The crystals there were stunning reminders of the beauty of creation and throughout the store there were interesting gifts that kept your eyes constantly moving from one treasure to another.
As I moved through the store, I came across a book by Gregg Braden titled, “The Isaiah Effect.” I was a fan of his after reading “Deep Truth” so I stopped to see what this book was about. I rarely read the covers when investigating a book. Instead I just open the book and see what the universe has to offer me. Is there a message I am supposed to be aware of here?
I opened the book to page 134 and near the center was a subsection called “The Abbot’s Message.” It describes a meeting between Gregg, his translator, a guide named Xjinla, and a Tibetan holy man at a monastery located at fifteen thousand feet in the Himalayas.
Gregg was concluding the meeting and was ready for his ultimate question, which was, “If there was one message that the abbot could share with the people of the earth, what would he like for Gregg to carry to the world outside of Tibet on the abbot’s behalf?”
Here is the abbot’s answer from high in the Himalayas, carefully and exactly translated for you. “Each time we pray individually, we must feel our prayer. When we pray, we feel on behalf of all beings, everywhere. We are all connected. We are all expression of one life. No matter where we are, our prayers are heard by all. We are all the same one.”
The abbot then passionately added the rest of his answer delivered straight from his heart. “Peace is of the greatest importance in our world today, in the absence of peace, we lose what we have gained. In the presence of peace, all things are possible: love, compassion, and forgiveness. Peace is the source of all things. I would ask the people of the world to find peace in themselves, so that their peace may be mirrored in the world.”
This is the message that was delivered to me as I opened a 271-page book. The universe had delivered to me AGAIN, a message of what my path in this life is. I am so grateful to be a vessel to deliver this message to you with my hands and heart.
