Why after so much suffering would anyone believe that putting a mark (your signature) on a piece of paper would mean anything? It has historically been the individual marks on paper that have changed evil to good. Those that place their marks on letters and blogs, so that every citizen can be counted in the tally for equality, carry the flag of hope forward. Those that affix their names to editorials, declarations, ballots and petitions go beyond silent wishes and stand upon the ramparts where the air is pure and fresh with the goodness brought by winds of change. Do not say PeaceNow is a dream and turn your back on the time when empowered action is so readily available to you. It is your mark that will carry the day. It is your voice that will be heard above the turmoil of despair. It is your vision that can see the future where peace is written in every language, the marks that express your will for peace.
